Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) invites you to attend the 1st Annual Conference of Asia ESP & the 6th Chinese National Symposium on ESP, 27-29 October 2017, Beijing, China.

The conference theme is “Innovating ESP, Bridging Asia”. Its missions are to innovate the theory, practice and methodology for ESP teaching and research among Asian countries and areas; to promote communication and enhance cooperation on ESP research and pedagogy across cultures; to provide ESP scholars, educators and practitioners with an opportunity to interact, network, and benefit from each other's research and expertise in the age of globalization and digitalization.

Sponsored by Asia ESP Association and the Special Committee of ESP of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, coordinated with Chinese Journal of ESP, and hosted by the School of English for Specific Purposes at BFSU, the conference provides participants with a unique experience with plenary speeches, round table discussions, Journal editors' seminars as well as paper presentations, colloquia, poster displays, and teaching demonstrations.

The conference now invites papers from academics, researchers, practitioners and graduate students from around Asia on the following topics:
